Janice Jensen was born 1994 in Bielefeld, Germany. She studied drawing, graphic design and media and experiment between 2015 and 2022 at university of applied sciences in Bielefeld, Germany and painting at Vilnius Art Academy in Lithuania where she first started to include walking practices in her work. After her graduation in 2022 she has been working as an illustrator, graphic designer, art teacher and project coordinator for a multidisciplinary student camp happening during the contemporary art festival Supergau in the countryside of Salzburg in Austria. Since their founding in 2019 she is also part of the feminist magazine and collective Naturtrüb which is regularly publishing the work of its 30 artists and researchers and also functions as a feminist network that creates a space for its members to exchange and support each other as well as work together in other related projects. 

In her individual projects she is working with different methods of depicting space with mainly drawing and panting, but also animation and VR-Landscape. Her interest lays in the subjective perception of surroundings, collecting shapes and structures and movement in relation to space.
